Okay, so this vocabulary word for the week comes with a story. A few weeks ago, I was working on my YA manuscript to get in ready for a whole manuscript class I am taking online. Scrivener (my usually AWESOME software for writers) had troubles, and I lost an entire day of writing work. (As in, irretrievable from my three separate backups AND my computer harddrive. As in GONE.) I cannot relate to you my perplexity in this matter. (I severely understate myself here.) I didn't have TIME for this to happen. My teacher needed my manuscipt and she needed it NOW. I'd scheduled out exactly how many days it would take to finish, and I had promised her a delivery date. HOW COULD THIS HAPPEN???

Vocab Words

So, I am currently reading The Little Princess to our children. (By Frances Hodgson Burnett.) We're loving it. Apparently, little Miss Sarah is smarter than me. She used the word "largess," and I had to look it up in the dictionary so I could describe it to my kids. So, it has now earned it's place as vocab word for this week:
